We also have a Summer “Women & Work” tour planned – CHECK ALL DATES HERE. That tour is starting June 20th in Carrboro, NC and headed up the East Coast to Atlantic City, through Pittsburgh then West all the way to the LA area (Hootenanny Festival) and back across the country to the Forecastle Festival in Louisville (July 13) Belle Chere Festival in Asheville, NC(July 27) and Wicker Park Festival in Chicago (July 29). Today LUCERO turns 14! Thank you to everyone who has made the last 14 years possible!!! We are celebrating tonight at the Magic Stick in Detroit. The show was SOLD OUT, but as a birthday present to us the nice folks at the Magic Stick are opening a balcony and we’ll be releasing 100 additional tickets! Come celebrate with us tonight.

We are also pleased to announce a summer tour! That’s right, in June / July we are headed Coast to Coast and will be visiting some places we couldn’t on our current tour. BUY TICKETS HERE from our LUCERO ticketing pre-sale, the “public” on-sale will be next Friday April 20th. This summer tour includes headline shows, a couple festivals (one with Metallica!), a co-bill with Reverend Horton Heat, and a festival just outside LA with Rancid, Supersuckers, Bouncing Souls, called the Hootenanny Festival… We are excited to bring “Women & Work” to you folks who haven’t yet seen the show… Thanks!

Update on the Philly show at Union Transfer on April 22nd… you’re getting a special treat. We have added DEER TICK and TURBO FRUITS to the show. That’s right, FOUR bands making rock and roll for you. Let’s do this Philly! Good news for those who already bought tickets for this one: nothing has changed. For those of you who haven’t bought tickets yet it’ll cost you 8 more quarters (that’s 2 bucks). We suggest you get your tickets soon as we expect this one to start cruising to a sellout.
