Alright, since we probably have to wait at least til the fall for the new album, I decided to compile the best live versions of all the currently available new album tracks that I have. We can add to and change this list as new songs are performed and better recordings are released. Here are the ones I have: 1) Sounds of the City http://www.sendspace.com/file/pjs5bi2) Johnny Davis http://www.sendspace.com/file/ym651u3) The Devil and Maggie Chascarillo http://www.sendspace.com/file/ji0f18May 30th version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/7muunn4) Lonesome Dogtown Nights http://www.sendspace.com/file/og7lcr5) Sixes and Sevens http://www.sendspace.com/file/ktlrqgApril 11th version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/wu0e3f6) Can't Feel the Pain (Never Learned a Lesson) http://www.sendspace.com/file/ndd0sp7) Hey Darling, Do You Gamble http://www.sendspace.com/file/smr7zcHey Darling, Do You Gamble (Ben acoustic on WEVL): http://www.sendspace.com/file/wc6z7jMay 30th version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/hwnoga8) What Are You Willing to Lose http://www.sendspace.com/file/eye2eb9) Darken My Door http://www.sendspace.com/file/l09iajApril 24th version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/lryyxx10) Goodbye Again http://www.sendspace.com/file/u4849lApril 24th version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jaxbhpOther new songs that have not been performed live:11) MomNote that I did not personally record any of these, they're just compiled from existing torrents that were posted here or on other sites. If you have any better versions or additional tracks, just post them up on Sendspace and post in this thread and I'll add them to this post. June 11th update - added May 30th versions of The Devil and Maggie Chascarillo and Hey Darling Do You Gamble, April 24th versions of Darken My Door and Goodbye Again, April 11th version of Sixes and Sevens.

awesome. Thanks.
I was having a "moment" during Goodbye Again at the Brooklyn show. That song just gets better and better and it's a beautiful throwback to old Lucero. Darken My Door too!

Thanks so much for posting these! At the Toronto gig someone requested one of the new ones saying they got it online already but i hadn't seen anything until now. Cheers.

The Devil and Maggie Chascarillo
This is the one song that I can not stop listening to, even though I still don't think I can decipher all the words. All these new ones are good but this one is probably my favorite. I don't know if this is the version from the Baltimore show from February but Ben finished that one by saying "that one's going to be bad ass one day". I already thought that one was pretty bad ass when I was there so I can't wait to see them again in a couple weeks to see if they've gotten it even better.

Check the first post for May 30th versions of The Devil and Maggie Chascarillo and Hey Darling Do You Gamble, April 24th versions of Darken My Door and Goodbye Again, and April 11th version of Sixes and Sevens. And I took a shot at the Maggie lyrics in the 'New Album Lyrics' thread.

My album just came It looks great, and it came in only 5 days, even though I didnt pay for special shipping. The two page spread turned out really well. The pages dont open up and lie flat, so theres a little bit of the picture missing, but I didnt put anything important in the center and I think it looks great. I made this book to give to the parents, and Im going to make another album for myself. Anyone have any suggestions on things I should change? I really want an art book feel...
