So, this is fucking surreal.  My buddy and former bandmate, Rob Weddle, is one of 8 qualifiers of Oprah's Karaoke Challenge.  Round 1 is tomorrow's show, live from Chicago.

Rob and I played together in Holidaysburg a few years back.  He's a good dude, humble as hell, and I'm really happy for him.

So tune in or DVR that shit and show some love.  From the looks of it, he's the only rocker on there.

You can vote for him here.

I haven't even seen it yet and I've got fucking butterflies.  This is nuts.

All right folks, tomorrow on Oprah (yes, THE Oprah) my friend Rob Weddle is one of three finalists in her karaoke challenge.

Please tune in and vote by phone or at www.oprah.com (I think that's it).

Rob is a helluva singer and an all-around nice dude.  We've been in touch a few times throughout this and he really appreciates everybody's support.

And Rob and Larry's Holidaysburg - A Better November record ain't too shabby.  I'd submit a song from it to a comp, if there was a comp.

Thanks man.  We can just pretend A Better November is a comp of 10 bands that sound the same.

For anyone interested in voting for Rob, you can vote as many times as you want by phone.

I still haven't seen today's episode with sound.  Maybe someone will post it on youtube for those of us who don't have cable.
