They just gave a copy of this song to Lucero social club members and I was just wondering why it was left off the album.

It is a good enough song and there is plenty of room.

Just wondering if anyone knew.

Is it wrong that i like this track much better than the super slick horn filled sound of the new record?

I just got my copy this morning.  Had a friend send it to me early last week cause I thought I been forgotten about.  Maybe they send emails in phases?

Awesome, I was hoping they may do this. Yeah it's a shame it didn't make the album.

You can only need what you want for so long... till it slowly starts to fade into the background, only to rear its not so ugly head at the most inopportune moment. I know what I need, but I want what I want.

Nope, not wrong at all. I like it more than most of the songs on the new album

As much as I like this song, it doesn't really go with the new album, it sounds like it belongs on Tennessee or the s/t album. It's quite odd that they made this song, because they've not really made a song like this since That Much Further West. Still a great song though.

i think it was best left off the album,....while i enjoyed hearing it a few weeks ago, i too feel like it would have been better on an earlier album
